San Valentines look

Last year was my first real Valentines Celebration, in Colombia has never been a big deal like is here. My BF made me a big Surprise, this year I am going to be back from Fashion week the day before Valentines so we want to take it easy with a Valentines Brunch.

This is a cute outfit idea for Valentines for those that are not ashamed to wear Hearts, pink and red.

I had this sweater long time ago and I love it and is perfect for a casual look however if you we are with a cute pencil skirt and heels the look can be more romantic and sassy, perfect for this kind of occasion.

Pencil Skirts are really good for curvy petites as long as you wear heels with it to create the illusion of having longer legs. As well wearing the skirts in the waist line makes you legs look longer.

Caribbean Town Vacay Look

Traveling in Cartagena with my family was dream vacation, if you love culture, beach and nature Cartagena de indias is the place to go, has a great variety of restaurants, history, colonial architecture, and lost of beautiful nature in the Atlantic Ocean making a great scenography for the best Caribbean backgrounds for Fashion lovers pictures.

In my First day I visit the Old town (ciudad amurallada) where we walk all over their streets and their colonial houses.

I wore a very comfy and light summer pants with animal prints pair it with a heart line strapless blouse in black and sneakers for the long distance walk. I bit about my sneaker, I have a tiny feet so I sometimes like to check the kids shoe section. I found this Adidas stand smith in white with silver velcro straps and I couldn’t resisted.

Tip: when you have big hips and you are petite, the best way to flair your body is making sure you don’t use all baggy close. In my case my waist is the smallest part of my body so I try to wear my baggy pants over my blouse to create a waist line to make my curves look attractive.

San Francisco it’s the perfect place where layering cloths takes action, I love to be cozy and feel chic so I found a incredible wool sweater dress that is absolutely perfect for the cold season but I wanted to make it look more fun, I added the zara leather dress I got in the summer sale and created the perfect layering combo for winter.

Caffe Reveille is not just amazing beautiful, cozy and the food is delicious, I highly recommend it.

Pink, I am so into you

I don’t know if my mom didn’t get me enough pink when I was a little girl but right now at my 28s I am so crazy about pink stuff in all of its shades.

In a casual shopping day at H&M I found this super cozy oversized PINK sweater perfect for the fall season. This kind of sweater is the perfect piece for a casual look, it is so comfortable and warm and easy to wear for petite girls I’ll recommend to pair it with leggings or skinny jeans. Heeled boots or stilettos elongated your legs. Although if you are tall or don’t really care about looking short sneakers or flats are the perfect match.

For this shoot I decided to show you how amazing looks with a pair o black leather look leggings and some balck heels. My favorite of all accessories is my bag that would be in sale soon by the styling rack store my own ecommerce boutique. This bag is so special because is like my baby the first product I order to sell in my boutique more details coming soon.

Party time, cozy time

As I told you in my previous post I this months are gonna be all about party and friend-family time.

I love to feel femenine and cute during this time of the year I love to wear cozy coats and cute dresses. I bought this dress last year in a Buffalo Exchange and I love it. Seriously this is the perfect shape for someone curvy petite because it’s tide on the too which is my smalles part and has lost of flair in the skirt. This beautiful emerald velvet dress is perfect to be pair with a fur coat and some golden accessories.

The French fall look

I am so in love with being back to the fall outfits, I grow up in Bogota were fall goes pretty much all the year so I am use to wear layers and still look femenine.

This is the perfect season to take the sweaters out and pair it with the perfect boots, I found really hard to get the right kind of boots for me because my legs are short and my hips are curved so it is quite risky to use boots for those curvy petites.

Over the knee boots are so in trend right know and the perfect way to wear them for someone with short legs is with a mini skirt letting your leg to be visible a little bit, if you want to pair them with pants try to match the color of the boots with the pants and not create a big contrast.

So for this look I was wearing a classic bell sleeves sweater with a classic white mini and over the kneed black boots, to make the look to have a French vibe I add some bright patterned blanket scarf, a mint beret and a classic round white Sunglasses. Because fall is full of fun! Cold but fun!

Color pop + Tribal vibe combo

I found this beautiful Romper on target with vibrant tribal prints and it is so comfortable and easy to dress up, in my every day I wear it with sneakers or flip flops but when I want to be glam I just add some heels or sandals and add some jewelry and I am ready to go.

I like to play with jewelry sometimes I go for simple look but when I really want to wear some standing pieces I like to mix pieces together, in this location I had a beautiful chocker but to make it more dramatic I attache a beautiful long necklace handmade by my Cousin in Colombia, this is a dream catcher with gorgeous feathers, That way I create a unique Necklace.

I like to accentuate my waist so love to wear belts right on the waistline that makes me figure looks better and I can show some of my curves

Into Fucshia + Murals

I always love color combinations and I am never afraid to try the color on me, I got a beautiful Fuchsia fur coat online on eBay. I was a bit afraid to get it because I had Fuchsia so many fur coats and they just make me look so boxy, (I feel like a football player), but I just pay $20 on eBay and I was so pleased with the quality of the coat and the fit was just perfect.

I got bright pink because these bright colors look really good with my skin tone, and I just wanted to try something edgy and different. Since we are in this Indian Summer in SFO (don’t take me wrong I am so in love with this weather, please never leave us!) I haven’t had the change to try it on.
However, my friend LES ask me to go and check some of the murals on the Color Factory Map, since she is a mural artist herself I dint though twice she make some gorgeous pictures of me and we have a blast playing model.  The mural was absolutely amazing and it contrasts just perfect with my outfit.

I wore a black and white stripe dress with the open back that I had for years already and I just love it because it has such a beautiful fit, I wanna to go for a comfy sporty but feminine look so I add my Adidas sneakers and cute black vintage purse I found at the Goodwill. The combination of black+white+fuchsia has been always a color palette that I just love so I add my new fur coat and voila! the perfect look for the perfect mural with the perfect company.
I highly recommend to all of those that went to a color factory to take time to check the murals around the city, I am still looking for having some more time to take a look at some more others.
